Thought Spot Summer Workshops: That’s a wrap!
Summer workshops—had me a blast
Summer workshops—happened so fast…
So here we are—nearly the end of summer and time to wrap-up our Thought Spot Summer Workshop series.
It’s been a productive project, with more than 60 student volunteers that came out for seven workshops over seven weeks.
Together, the students reviewed both the Thought Spot website and app. They’ve documented strengths and isolated weaknesses. They worked with hypothetical personas, journey mapped use and examined the interface. Gaps were identified; improvements suggested.
It’s this level of student input and direction that has made Thought Spot such a unique project. Who better to build a tool to address access to mental health and wellness resources for transition-age youth than the students themselves?
Now it’s up to the CAMH Education team to synthesize the results and move along to our next phase: Thought Spot site and app rebuild and optimization!
That’s right: The Thought Spot you love is going to get better and stronger.
We’re looking forward to working with our partners over the next few months and will keep you posted as things progress.
Meanwhile, a huge thanks to everyone involved over the course of the workshops, especially to our practicum student team. Chelsea, Mandee and Nicole—you kept things running smoothly and kept our energy up throughout the process! Wishing you the best of luck on your future endeavours. We’ll miss you!
